HP and Aptilo have now successfully cooperated to join
the Aptilo APC software with the HP ThinClient t5700
into the µ-Hotspot Gateway. The result: A full-fledge
hotspot gateway in a small-format, good-looking, hardware
- completely without moving parts and purposed designed
for the centralized hotspot solution from Aptilo Networks.
With the Aptilo software inside, the t5700 becomes a
“hot-spot-in-a-box” ready for massive and
fast deployment of quality hotspots.
While the Aptilo APC is designed to support all kind
of hotspots, the µ-Hotspot Gateway is designed
for hotspots with specific requirements on small size
and low ownership costs. The µ-Hotspot Gateway
is also suitable for service providers who do not control
the IP backbone or want to reuse venue owners existing
Internet connection. With other words the µ-Hotspot
Gateway is ideal for fast deployment of small to medium
sized hotspots.
